科学
科学 is one of the oldest and most respected academic disciplines, and covers a wide variety of skills and content.
We have always studied science. Our species still exists because from the very beginning we have experimented with making fire, 喂养自己, sheltering from the elements in order to survive. Human progress throughout history has largely rested on advances in science.
In schools across the world, science is typically divided into the three classical fields in which we explore the common scientific theories: biology, 化学和物理.
Exploring scientific theories is at the heart of the scientific process. Studying the sciences enables learners to develop their mathematical and investigative skills, using the knowledge and skills from many other subjects in its cross-curricular links. Developing these skills prepares students for a range of future careers. A qualification in any science is highly respected, leading to a wider and global choice of job opportunities, greater earning potential and the chance to develop a career you enjoy.
The science curriculum follows the AQA Trilogy syllabus for Combined 科学s and Separate 科学s. The specification is designed to inspire students to explore and succeed. The KS3 curriculum has been designed to cover the key content and skills taught at GCSE within a spiral curriculum. This means that with each year group the series lessons are building on the depth of knowledge and skills for GCSE science, challenging pupil thinking of the world and the way it works and building foundations for continuing science in to the future.
If you want to shape our world for the future or just enjoy living in it, a science education in biology, 化学和物理 is where it will begin.
